La Quinta Jardins do Lago est un petit hôtel botanique de luxe, situé à Funchal, la capitale de l’île de Madère.

Cette jolie et historique Quinta, fût construite au XVIII siècle, en 1750 par une famille madérienne. Pendant les guerres napoleoniques, le Général Beresford, alors commandant des forces anglaises qui occupaient l’île, choisit cette Quinta pour y installer sa résidence officielle à Madère. A primeira intervenção foi feita por Martinho Mendes no dia 20 de agosto de 2010 na Rua da Carreira, nº207.

Projecto artE de pORtas abErtas na Rua Santa Maria do Funchal. Artistas com ideias e tinta na mão dão vida a zona velha da cidade a mesma ganhou uma nova vida.

Com imaginação e alguns recursos de baixo custo, transformaram a rua de Santa Maria numa atracão turística e de referência em toda a cidade,  agora fala-se tomar um copo na rua das portas pintadas.

A zona histórica de Santa Maria Maior, no Funchal, transformou-se num verdadeiro museu vivo ao ar livre.
